Greetings, Delta Force Operators! The S6 Mid-Season update brings massive weapon balance changes to Warfare mode. M250 receives an epic buff with headshot damage reaching 100, declaring the coronation of a "new king". ASVAL's exclusive attachments also received significant enhancements.
Today, we bring you the most comprehensive S6 Mid-Season weapon update analysis to help you master the new meta T0 weapons.
M250 (S+ Tier Potential)
The biggest winner of the new patch is undoubtedly M250.
This is an extremely significant damage buff. M250 can now one-shot "no-armor Level 3 helmet" targets, just like the AK. According to calculations, M250 has higher armor damage — even against new Level 4 durability helmets, it deals up to 80.3 damage.
What This Means:
- • Against "Level 4 helmet no-armor" targets: guaranteed kill with "one headshot + any body shot"
- • Against downed-then-revived targets (80 HP): opponents need Level 5 helmet with at least 25 durability to survive
- • Level 4 helmets are extremely common in regular matches, making this buff highly impactful
Overall, M250 will see a massive surge in strength and pick rate, potentially reaching S+ tier.

ASVAL (Massive Potential)
ASVAL receives double good news in S6 Mid-Season.
Decent numerical buffs that often save one bullet. However, considering ASVAL's recoil and bullet velocity, the long-range (third segment) buff has limited practical benefit.
What This Means:
- • Exclusive "Assassin Barrel" Major Buff: Torso damage multiplier buffed to 1.0x — can eliminate any same-tier armor with one burst (4-round burst)
- • Limb damage increased to 22 (matching M250), allowing 2-3 bursts to finish enemies even with poor hit accuracy
- • Fire rate and range also improved
The new ASVAL has massive potential and deserves players to pick it up again.

MK47 (Mid S-Tier)
MK47 assault rifle damage increased once again:
In the current patch, short barrel MK47's DPS significantly exceeds M14 and PKM — truly terrifying. This gun has always been positioned to crush other large-caliber Tier 4 weapons with high per-shot damage and low bullets-to-kill. However, its pain point is excessive recoil — hitting limbs actually increases TTK (time-to-kill), leading to low pick rates.
What This Means:
- • New buff strategy remains "doubling down on damage"
- • MK47 pick rates will increase, especially in high-level matches
- • Strength upgraded from "bottom S-tier" to "mid S-tier"
- • Recommendation: Short barrel is stronger
MK47 continues the high-damage path with significant DPS improvements, making it a strong contender in the current meta.

Tier 3 Weapon Adjustments
After covering Tier 4 weapons, let's examine Tier 3 weapon changes.
M249
Rating: A+ Tier Potential
- • Improved firing stability (crosshair jump during firing)
- • M249 has high theoretical DPS (matching HK416)
- • Machine gun drawbacks and terrible firing stability led to mediocre strength
- • If this update fixes the "crosshair jumping" issue effectively
- • Combined with high output and low price from old seasons, definitely worth trying
AK12
Rating: A Tier
- • DPS buffed with +1 armor damage and +1 flesh damage
- • This buff is far weaker than MK47's last buff (faster fire rate + 2 flesh damage)
- • For 715 RPM AK12, +1 to both stats seems stingy
- • While it saves one bullet in some situations, strength remains around A-tier
S12K
Rating: Entertainment God
- • Attachment stats received "epic-level buff"
- • Core attachment "Bump Fire Stock" gained 22 positive stat points
- • Nearly 40 points stronger than old version — largest single-attachment buff in Delta Force history!
- • New S12K will see massive improvements in hip-fire, accuracy, and lethality
- • Despite this, shotgun pellet lethality remains inconsistent
- • S12K will likely become a strong "entertainment weapon"
- • In "Classified" mode paired with slugs or flechettes, it poses huge threats
Acquisition: Note: Bump Fire Stock increases fire rate, and semi-auto weapons struggle to reach the fire rate cap
Developer's "Humor Piece": QCQ171
QCQ171 received a "mosquito leg" buff: two grips each gained 4 stat points.
Analysis
- •This gun itself has terrible recoil and lacks weapon stats
- •Attachments heavily penalize stats (high-speed grip -16 stats)
- •Even after buffs, it remains a weak niche weapon
- •Don't overthink it
